Ballot Drop Day Weekend
Voter Assistance Event
Did you know that US citizens living abroad can start voting in this November’s election from September 21st?
Do you need help requesting your ballot or have questions about returning your ballot?
Then come to the Democrats Abroad Ballot Day Weekend Voter Assistance Event!
Date: Sunday, September 22nd
Time: Between 1 pm and 5 pm in hourly increments
Location: Upon RSVP
(5 min walk from Holborn Tube Station - on Central Line & Piccadilly Lines; 9 mins from Temple - on Circle & District Lines)
**********
Voting from abroad is different from using an in-state absentee ballot.
If you request a ballot using the Federal Postcard Application (which you can do at VotefromAbroad.org) your local election official is required by law to send that ballot to you 45 days before the election.
This year, that is Saturday, September 21st.
If you have ticked the option for the ballot to be emailed to you, you should find it in your email inbox from September 21st.
(Do check your spam folder)
Democrats Abroad will have trained voting assistance officers on hand to provide expert help on how to vote from abroad.
