Welcome to Democrats Abroad Normandy!

DA Normandy is a chapter of Democrats Abroad France, the official country committee for US Democrats living in France. We encompass the very broad regions of Normandy, Picardy, and other parts of the Hauts-de-France. Our main purpose is to ensure that everyone in our area votes in US national, state and local elections on a well-informed basis. We get together regularly for informative seminars (such as on US and French tax obligations), commemorative events (especially D-Day), and holiday celebrations (4th of July!) Watch this space for announcements of upcoming meetings and events. If you have questions or would like to help with Democrats Abroad Normandy, please contact us.

The 2025-2027 Normandy Chapter leadership are:

  • Maite Penna, Chapter Chair
  • Judith Crews, Chapter Vice Chair
  • Marjorie Simpson, Treasurer
  • Rebecca Grossberg, Member-at-Large
  • Harold Surguine, Member-at-Large
