Democrats Abroad Lübeck Precinct put their rainbow colors on to celebrate Christopher Street Day at the marketplace on August 21st and support the LGBTQIA+ community. Americans from all around the Hamburg and Northern Germany chapter came to help and be a part of our rainbow.
At our stand, we gave away freebies, met people from around the world, answered questions, and all in all had a good time. Quite a few Germans took Voted From Abroad material with them for their American friends; several Americans approached us to introduce themselves, and many people expressed how happy they were to see us there.
Candice, our chapter chair, gave an interview on stage and explained what it means to us to participate in the Lübeck Pride event. Our message is clear: for Democrats, Love is Love!
