Federal judge says states acted too late to ratify Equal Rights Amendment

On Friday March 5, a federal judge ruled that the 1982 deadline in the preamble of the Equal Rights Amendments preclude the validity of the 2017 Nevada ratification, the 2018 Illinois ratification and the 2020 Virginia ratification.   ERA advocates working on what this means and next steps.
