The Kaiserslautern Chapter invites you to participate in
EARTH HOUR 2021! Switch off your lights for an hour.
Speak up for nature on Saturday, March 27, at 8:30 p.m., your local time. Make an impact wherever you are! Every year, at 8:30 pm on the last Saturday of March, millions of people across the world join in raising awareness of the issues facing our planet. Last year the Kaiserslautern Chapter participated and will be supporting the global Earth Hour movement again! Have a candlelit dinner with a VFA and DA centerpiece that includes your chapter’s name. Then send photos to social media. We will be spreading the word to vote from abroad while supporting efforts to tackle climate change.
Earth Hour is more than just an Hour for the planet - it's a movement for our future. And it's more than just a symbol of support - it's a catalyst for urgent change.
Earth Hour has always been about two things - people and planet - and with your support we can remind the world just how important this relationship is.
❗ In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Earth Hour global organizing team is recommending all individuals to take part online / digitally when possible. If you are planning to be in a public space or are thinking of spending the Hour with friends and family outside your home, please follow local guidelines, remember to wear a mask, and maintain social distancing.
