Let's build community and get ready to vote in the Western Cape!
I'll be coming to the Western Cape next week and would love to meet you! We've organised two meet-ups in Cape Town this month and another in Hermanus!
We'd really like to develop activities and outreach in Cape Town and surrounding areas this year. Stop by to meet other DASA members, share outreach ideas, and request your ballot if you haven't already! Did you know that only about 7.8% of eligible voters living abroad voted in the 2020 elections? We need to sort that statistic out. Imagine the impact if we all voted!
We all know this is a critical election year. Our main goal is to ensure US Citizens living in South Africa vote in the upcoming elections. To do that we need to 1) find Americans, including dual citizens, 2) share info and 3) encourage them to request & return their ballots in time!
