You're invited to the State Team 'Year End Review and Look Ahead' to look at the successes and possibilities of the Democrats Abroad state-focussed outreach. Over the last several months, multiple teams have formed representing the interests of overseas voters from key states. We'll look back at the formation of this movement and the various activities of the different state teams. We will also strategize how to make an impact in the 2022 election cycle and win elections up and down the ballot.

Join the Democrats Abroad Global Disability Caucus (GDC) for a panel discussion where we’ll celebrate and talk about the history of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, provide some context, raise issues and hear from a panel representing the diverse voices and perspectives of Democrats Abroad Global Caucuses and moderated by Allyssa Schoenemann. Our focus will be on community, disabilities and intersectionality while exploring some of the ways each of our complex identities can influence our experiences. This important event is co-sponsored by the Global AAPI Caucus, Black Caucus, Hispanic Caucus, LGBTQ+ Caucus, Progressive Caucus, VMF Caucus, Women's Caucus and Youth Caucus.
We hope to help build a better understanding of the many ways disability can alter an individual's needs in various situations and the role disability plays in how we and others perceive our identity.
We are also dedicated to building a stronger Democrats Abroad - by making all information, events and activities more accessible and being more cognizant of, and sensitive to, disability issues. We hope this will be yet another meaningful discussion of many conversations in the coming months and years!

★ Changes were made to the structure of the Leadership Board at the Country meeting held September 27th. New positions were created, and there are currently vacancies. Please attend our next Country Meeting (October 24th) and contact us for information and with questions.
★ An NEC has been created for the purpose of hosting a special election. This election will be held to fill Leadership Board vacancies. Election information will be distributed by the NEC. The NEC officer announcement was made public on August 25, 2021. Election notices will be listed on the DACN Website and Wiki Pages. Join DACN as we round out the third meeting of the term!
Pin pennants with pride and don your hometown hero jerseys! All DA China members are welcome to join as we discuss updates, progress and rock rally caps on Monday, August 16th.
Currently accepting photo submissions from July and August events, as well as members showcasing their DACN and/or USA swag. Pictures submitted by August 15th will make it into the meeting presentation. Please submit via e-mail: [email protected], or via WeChat: DemocratsAbroad.
The Board will begin the process of voting on Bylaws at this meeting.
First at bat is a DPCA amendment. On deck is the selection of a third DPCA voting member. The Bylaws and Rules committee will be reporting on the submissions process at this meeting. Members are encouraged to join the conversation! Please be sure to submit all additions and amendments to the Bylaws & Rules Committee by August 16th.
