Voter Registration & Ballot Request Assistance

On Wednesday, 14 September, several volunteers from Vote From Abroad will be on campus to help US citizens register to vote! If you would like to register to vote and request your ballot, please join us in the LAC lobby from 14:30 to 16:30 or in Ben’s Den in the Grotto from 16:45 to 19:00. You can also visit https://www.votefromabroad.org/ to find your state’s registration information and learn more!

Even if you have registered to vote from abroad in the past, you still need to resubmit your request for a ballot in the same calendar year as the election in which you’d like to vote. (If you have registered to vote from abroad in 2022, I recommend that you confirm your registration with your home state to be sure you get a ballot when the time comes.)

If you would like to meet with one of the volunteers, you would need your Social Security Number, state ID card or state-issued drivers license (not required for all states, but if you can, just bring it anyway), and a US address. If you are a US citizen and have never lived in the US, you would need the last US address your parents or grandparents had in order to register.
