We are a diverse team of volunteers committed to helping Americans connect, vote, and engage with US politics in the greater Basel area. We hold a wide range of activities including voter registration, marches, discussion groups, phone banking, potlucks, and fundraisers.
If you are interested in participating, we have monthly business meetings as well as regular social events. To get started, join Democrats Abroad online and then come around in person to one of our events. We look forward to meeting you! And if you are an American citizen, don't forget to register to vote!

Zoom Meeting in Basel, SwitzerlandBasel Annual General Meeting 2020
For the first time, our annual meeting is going virtual! Join us for a report on the last year of activities, including how our local Global Presidential Primary went. We’ll also discuss plans for the upcoming months and how we can best reach out to ensure every Democrat Abroad in the Basel area gets their ballot in by November 3rd!Our AGM will be held just before our June business meeting; join us for either event, or both!
Proposed agenda:
- 6-7 PM - Report on events and finances from the previous year. A part of this will be devoted to getting input on how the GPP can be improved next time.
- 7-8 PM - Discussion on GOTV strategy for November.
Our AGM may end early and the business meeting will start directly afterwards.

Zoom Meeting in Basel, SwitzerlandBasel Monthly Business Meeting
Please join DACH Basel members for our monthly business meeting! This month's meeting will be held online via Zoom, in keeping with COVID-19 social distancing requirements. Everyone is welcome!
This month's meeting will directly follow Basel's Annual General Meeting from 6-8 PM. Join us for either event, or both!
Can't make it this month? We have business meetings regularly, usually on the 1st Tuesday of each month. Or, if you can't make our regular meetings but still want to help, please get in touch with Basel Chapter Chair, Tory Mallett, at basel@democrats.ch.
